Antennas | Handhelds | Scanners

All my antennas are mounted on the roof at 40'. For hf, I'm using a G5RV which is set up as an inverted. I have made many contacts with this antenna and would highly recommend it to any hams first starting out on hf. The Comet GP-9 for vhf/uhf is mounted on the chimney with brackets. The Comet DS-150s discone is mainly used for my scanner and the OPEK HVT-600 is my portable antenna for my GO-BOX. And lastly, the Comet SBB224 is my main trid-band antenna roof-mounted on my GMC Savana.

For my handheld, it's the Yeasu Vx-6r that I have owned since I got my licence back in 2006. And the last item on the list is my portable scanner that I bought back in 2003 and also one of the main reasons I decided to get into ham radio!
